3 Unique Wedding Venues in One Place

Alcove at The Caldwell House

Gazetted as a national monument in 1990, Caldwell House is one of the oldest buildings in Singapore. Its neoclassical style design is one of the few surviving works of renowned architect, G.D Coleman. The Grand Gallery on level 2, renamed Alcove is managed by Watabe Wedding Singapore. With its unique semi-circular exterior and large Doric columns supporting a vaulted timber ceiling, Alcove features air conditioning, is well furnished and suitable for small parties of about 30 to 100 guests. Its modern furnishing allows room for versatility, bringing an elegant new venue for intimate weddings and cozy events! Not Forgetting, there is a prepared comfortable suite, fitted with all the necessities for the bride’s use. This exclusively private room for the bride can be used as a changing and makeup room or just a quiet sanctuary for the bride to reflect on the day’s events.

The backdrop of Caldwell House is a perfect meeting between luxury and heritage, fittingly designed for romantic beginnings. Among Aclove’s most distinct features includes the dome, that still bears its original French inscription, ‘Marche en ma présence et sois parfait’. Other words, which means “Walk along with me and be perfect”, are simply made for weddings.

The Lawn

The lush Lawn, set against the majestic backdrop of CHIJMES Hall, is perfect for all occasions such as open movie cinematics or even hold a intimate wedding – the charming ambience outdoors offers you the flexibility of having both al-fresco gatherings and sheltered events on the sprawling green right in the heart of CHIJMES. Accommodates up to 300 guests, subjected to event's arrangement. With The Lawn decorated, it will be the most memorable feature your event or wedding set up. It will create a clean classic fairytale vibe with a moderate sprinkling of twigs

CHIJMES Hall’s gothic style arches and high ceiling architecture brings a romantic timeless ambience that will leave your guest an unforgettable experience filled with unique charm and ambience. An exquisitely restored early Gothic styled 19th Century chapel with intricate design and detail, it’s the perfect location to make memories that will last a lifetime. Getting Hitcheed in a castle-like wedding venue in CHIJMES Singapore is not easy, especially when it comes to your choice of wedding gown. First it should represent your own character. Character that speaks grand, timeless and awe-inspiring to both your guest and yourself.

Weddings are not just about the grand romance between two people getting married - they are also celebrating family and friends. With the luxury and fluidity of time, the opportunity to build relationships, bond and share love notes were aplenty. Against the old-world backdrop of the former chapel decorated, Jason & Elaine strolled down the aisle in a white satin trumpet bespoke gown with a sweetheart neckline from Luna Bianca Bridal Boutique, adorned in intricate lace applique and beading.

First dance as a newly wedded, wearing Emanuel B. Couture bespoke qipao for the first newly wedded dance. The first dance between the bride and groom is the most awaited moment for the newly wed as well as the guests. It shows the love and unity between the new couple. The way of dancing, expression and the dancing steps reveal the harmony between the bride and groom. Choosing to have the courage, Elaine describes the experience as liberating, despite being a little nervous. Dream bigger, regret lesser!
